The Legend: In the late 1960's, a couple and their two children lived in the house. Late one night, the man left the house for reasons unknown, and when he returned he found the bodies of his children and his wife. It's not known whether they were murdered or if the wife took the lives of her children and then herself. It's also not clear what happened to the man. The house seems to have been abandoned since the late 1960's

Our Findings: Our trips to this house have always varied. It seems as though this house almost has moods. If it's in the mood to scare you, it will. It's always at least a "scary". When it's in one of its moods though, beware. On our second trip to the house in late 2002, I made a weird discovery. On the front doorstep to the house was laying my wristband that I use for softball. It had turned up missing a month earlier, after our first trip to the house. I had not worn the wristband into or up to the house, it was in my truck parked outside the house. It was almost as though the house was saying "welcome back". The weird thing was, the wristband was not wet, dirty or tattered after being outside, exposed to the elements.

The trip up the stairs to the second floor is always intense. On the landing at the top of the stairs is a door that leads to nowhere but the roof of the house. At times, the door seems to be sealed, when at other times, it opens with little effort. There is another door that is even more strange. It's also on the second floor but it faces the front of the house. Don't open this door and run out of it! It's a complete drop off to the ground in front of the house. The room upstairs on the left is definitely the creepiest of the rooms. There are vibes that you just can't explain. In one still photo we took of this room, you can make out what seems to be the grim reaper. It's not a clear image, but if you look close enough you can definitely make it out.

On our latest trip to the house, while we were getting video footage for our upcoming DVD, we had gone where we thought we'd never go… to the basement. Surprisingly, the basement wasn't as bad as we thought it'd be. Actually it was the most normal looking and feeling places in the house. Also, on the first floor in what looks like the kitchen, we found a newspaper dated June 11, 1968. If you go to this house, be prepared for strange noises and some strange vibes. Also, be warned that a private property sign has been posted in front of this house and it states that violators will be prosecuted.
